My point is that you do not need me or anyone else around to bring this new kind of light in your life. It is simply waiting out there for you to grasp it, and all you have to do is reach for it. The only person you are fighting is yourself and your stubbornness to engage in new circumstances.
Jon Krakauer, Into the Wild

Joy.
We think money will bring us joy.
That it will make us happy, forever.
I think it’s the feeling of security that it gives us.
The idea that that nothing can take what we have.
The truth is, we came into this world with nothing and we will leave it the same way.
What if we were just renting time?
Time doesn’t belong to us.
Although it can feel like it does.
What if we were just meant to enjoy what we have?
Instead of wanting more…and more…
It’s here.
It has always been.
It is in every single thing we take for granted.
Including ourselves.
What if we focused on what we can bring to the world?
Rather than what we can take?
Would we feel it then?
Would joy finally, stay?
